Taxis are also an economical option for short journeys. Minimum fare is around £3.00 and all trips are metered.

CROSS-BORDER SERVICES

There are also good cross-border bus and rail links from the Irish Republic.

BUS - Ulsterbus work in co-operation with Bus Eireann and will have current bus schedules and prices.

RAIL - NI Railways work in co-operation with Iarnród Éireann as part of the Enterprise service between Dublin and Belfast.

Northern Ireland is well renowned for a lively pub and club scene. Kick the night off by sipping cocktails in trendy urban bars such as Irene and Nan’s or the Pothouse, or by savouring a well poured pint of Guinness in the traditional and historically interesting John Hewitt or Crown Liquor Saloon.
